The Ran Tanners are a pair of roving miscreants who (when not doing hard labour in chokey or dodging the pressgang), present the traditional music of Georgian and Victorian England using Fiddles, Bagpipes and Squeezeboxes. They are equally at home giving concerts to Crowned Heads or entertaining in Low Dives. They have been asked back by Beamish Museum and English Heritage on many occasions and have promised not to steal the silver.
